On a recent walk towards Histon Orchard, Wiltshire Class and staff found an envelope stuck on a gatepost with the words ‘Open Me’.
Curiosity got the better of class staff so they excitedly opened the envelope. Inside was a £5 note and a message taped to the the back which said ‘To you dear friend, Have a beautiful day!’
This wonderful, and random, act of kindness got the students thinking about how they could pay it forward by passing on another act of kindness. After discussion and deliberation, they have decided to spend the £5 they received to purchase a litter picker, and litter pick the Orchard where the anonymous kind stranger left their gift!
