On Wednesday 27th March, Mr McCombie and Mr Thorsteinsson were asked to attend Little Thetford Primary School’s morning assembly to talk to students, as their topic for this assembly was Autism Awareness.
They talked to students from Reception age up to year 6 to help them have a better understanding of what life may be like for people with autism. They made the students aware of people with autism’s strengths, what they find difficult in life and how they can perhaps show understanding towards people that they may work and play with.
Well done to both on sharing such positive information with these young people and raising awareness of our school and the autistic community in general.
