In their Life Skills sessions, Mozart Class students have been organising events to raise money for a charity.
As a group they have chosen SPECTRUM which is a charity that provides events, sessions and support for families of children with Autism, additional needs, learning difficulties and disabilities.
They have decided to raise money by holding three different events during the last week of term this month.
These are:
1. Guess how many jellybeans are in the jar. Closest guess wins. This will be running from the 22nd March until the afternoon of the 26th March. There will be a prize.
2. A bake sale on the morning break of 26th. If staff and students want to chip in with their own baked goods we would love to see it.
3. During the afternoon of the 26th our Face Painting Specialist, Ivy and her assistant Izzy (a recruit from Steinbecher Class), will be demonstrating their skills on children and staff, who are willing to pay a small fee.
Mozart students will be putting up posters they have made to advertise these events throughout the 2 weeks. Jared has emailed out, to all students, the details.
Well done to all Mozart students for coming up with some brilliant event ideas, we look forward to updating everyone with how these events went and how much the students have raised for their chosen charity.
