Event: This talk will explore eating and feeding difficulties in children and young people with autistic spectrum conditions. Mayuri will look at the most current research in this vital area of health and wellbeing and will consider possible reasons for these difficulties. She will also explore methods of intervention and provide advice for parents regarding professionals who can support families to manage this very challenging issue.
Mayuri will also share general support strategies which can be used at home and will help parents to think about how to raise this with their child’s school. There will also be time for a Q&A session to answer any questions in this critical area.
